On April 20, 2007 @ Raraina Restaurant Aqua Resort Club, one group in the CNMI received the Top Honor among all environmental groups through out the fifty (50) States in the six insular area of the United State. MOVERS/FMI beat out groups from among 3,000,00 (Three thousand) million Americans who were providing support to voluntary environmental in clean up efforts. Besides the national award MOVERS/FMI also received 2007 Governor's Beautify CNMI! award "Environmental Steward". This award are presented by MOVERS/FMI to all the people of the CNMI who work to preserve the Beauty of our Islands. Rep. Jacinta Kaipat, Rep. Absalon Waki, Steve Hiney from DEQ, Mr. Ken Kramer and Mr. Angelo Villagomez from RC&D presented the award to MOVERS/FMI.
